Ravenhall Prison Refinancing

Advised the GEO Group on the Ravenhall Prison PPP refinancing through a successful US Private Placement (USPP) issuance.

The AUD $462m long term senior secured, fixed rate private placement carries a strong S&P A- rating with a tenor of 23 years.

Tetris Capital’s role involved significant financial analysis across all available product types and geographies.  Tetris Capital leveraged its extensive network of financiers and investigated a range of financing products including local/international bank debt, superannuation funds, insurance company investors, and the USPP bond market, with a USPP product being selected as the most appropriate solution.

Ravenhall Prison was developed by the GEO Consortium comprising of the GEO Group Australia, John Holland and Honeywell under a PPP with the State of Victoria. Ravenhall Prison is a 1,300 bed medium-security men’s prison and commenced operations in 2017.
