Finance Manager

Our asset management portfolio has grown by over $1.5bn in the last five years and an exciting opportunity to join our asset management team as a Finance Manager has arisen. Supported by our high achieving and experienced team, you will be encouraged to grow your skillset in areas of accounting, finance, contract management, commercial decision making and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain good working knowledge of the project and finance documents, particularly around financial and commercial obligations

  • Management of project accounts, including cashflow, payments to suppliers and contractors, and collection all Project entity income

  • Preparation of payment claims, abatements and retentions

  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts, and coordination of annual audits

  • Understanding the project financial model and updating accordingly

  • Maintain and update loan/bond/interest calculations

  • Preparation of compliance certificates, DSCR calculations and distributions

  • Maintain and further develop good relations with Tetris clients and all other relevant stakeholders, including community housing and charity regulators

  • Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders as required

  • Manage Board reporting and meeting schedules, and other corporate secretarial duties as required

 

Required skills, experience and attributes

  • CPA/CA qualified

  • 5 – 7 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in senior accountant or asset manager role

  • Experience in the property, construction or infrastructure industry preferred

  • Comprehensive understanding of finance and commercial contracts

  • Commitment to deadlines

  • Well-developed analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills

  • Understanding of accounting standards and policies

  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Positive attitude
