New Bendigo Hospital

Stephen and Ryan (Tetris staff) as part of the Exemplar Health consortium with Lendlease, Spotless and Siemens were awarded the contract to design, build and operate the $630m Bendigo Hospital. The Project is the largest regional hospital development in Victoria and delivered a world-class regional hospital incorporating the latest design and technology solutions, in a tranquil and caring environment.

Construction of the hospital was undertaken by Lendlease with Stage One of the Project achieving Technical Completion in late 2016 and opened to the public in early 2017. The Services component during operation of the Project is being delivered by Spotless and Siemens.

​​Stephen and Ryan led the consortium and financed the bid respectively as part of Capella Capital who provided financial advisory services, are an equity co-investor and provide ongoing asset management services for the consortium.

The new facility has capacity of 372 inpatient beds, 72 same-day beds, 11 new operating theatres, an integrated cancer centre, an 80-bed psychiatry services facility, a parent-infant unit, a helipad and a multi-deck carpark.
