Greater Curtin: Stage One
Live-in Learning, a consortium of Tetris Capital, InfraRed, Programmed FM, Unilodge, St Catherine's College and Probuild reached financial close on the first stage of the Exchange project in June 2019. The consortium will finance, design, build and maintain 900 student beds, education facilities, self-contained apartments, commercial and retail space, a 60 room hotel and a sector leading renewable energy solution, in addition to managing the operations of 1,100 existing student beds.
Construction of the facilities will be undertaken by Probuild, with completion scheduled for 2022. Programmed FM will be responsible for maintaining existing student accommodation assets from financial close as well as all of the additional facilities built by Probuild for the concession which ends in 2054. Unilodge and St Catherine's College will be responsible for operating all student accommodation from financial close until the end of the concession in 2054.
Tetris Capital was the financial advisor on the project providing support in bid coordination and management and will act as the long term asset manager for the concession.
All assets are to be returned to Curtin University at the end of the concession in 2054.
