Greater Curtin: Stage One
Live-in Learning, a consortium of Tetris Capital, InfraRed, Programmed FM, Unilodge and Probuild reach financial close on the Great Curtin Stage 1 project in June 2019. The consortium will finance, design, build and maintain over 2,000 beds of student accommodation, education facilities, self-contained apartments, commercial and retail space, a 60 room hotel and a sector leading renewable energy solution.
Construction of the facilities will be undertaken by Probuild, with completion scheduled for 2022. Programmed FM will be responsible for maintaining existing student accommodation assets from financial close as well as all of the additional facilities built by Probuild for the concession which ends in 2054. Unilodge will be responsible for operating all student accommodation from financial close until the end of the concession in 2054.
Tetris Capital was the financial advisor on the project providing support in bid coordination and management and will act as the long term asset manager for the concession.
On completion, the total project will include 924 new beds and 1154 existing beds of student accommodation, education facilities, self-contained apartments, commercial & retail space, a 60 room hotel and a sector leading renewable energy solution. All assets are to be returned to Curtin University at the end of the concession in 2054.
