Curtin University PBSA Acquisition

Tetris Capital served as financial advisor and asset manager to the original Live-in Learning consortium, which included InfraRed Capital Partners, Programmed FM, UniLodge, St Catherine’s College, and Probuild. This consortium sponsored and developed the Curtin University Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) project.

Tetris Capital has advised, Infranexus and IFM Investors on the acquisition of a 100% equity interest in the project company, Live-in Learning, from InfraRed Capital Partners. This strategic acquisition provides Infranexus and IFM with exposure to the growing student accommodation sector and expands their footprint in Western Australia.

​

The project, which commenced operations in January 2022, includes over 2,000 purpose-built student accommodation beds, a 60-key boutique hotel, 38 premium apartments, commercial spaces totalling 3,000 m², and 12 retail shops. All assets will be returned to Curtin University at the end of the 35-year concession in 2054.
