Synergy Renewable Vehicle
Western Australia
Tetris Capital advised Cbus Super on its joint venture with global infrastructure fund DIF Capital Partners and Western Australia-owned energy generator and retailer Synergy to form Bright Energy Investments (BEI). This partnership focuses on building and operating over 250MW of large-scale renewable energy projects in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) in Western Australia, ensuring Synergy meets its Large-Scale Renewable Energy Target (LRET) obligations by 2020.

DIF and Cbus collectively hold an 80.1% equity interest in BEI, which owns a portfolio of wind and solar assets including the 35MW Albany Grasmere Wind Farm, Stages 1 and 2 of the 40MW Greenough River Solar Farm (with Stage 2 construction started April 2018), and the 180MW Warradarge Wind Farm (financial close December 2018, construction early 2019, first generation 2020).

The project creates up to 200 construction jobs and powers 135,000 homes, providing long-term returns and contributing to a low-emissions future.

Tetris Capital provided financial advisory services to Cbus.
