Plans to build an 80MW solar farm with a 20MW battery storage system in Yass in south-eastern New South Wales have gained ground, after land was secured for the proposed state significant project.
Led by Frank Boland, Tetris Energy have agreed to lease about 150 hectares of land for a period of 30 years from two local properties which are adjacent to one of TransGrid's largest substations.
The project is still in the early stages of planning and grid connection approval processes.
