Minister and Mayor visit Aldinga Payinthi College

The Minister for Education, Mayor of the City of Onkaparinga, the Principal of Aldinga Payinthi College and national media visited the southern 'super school' of our SA Schools PPP Project on Wednesday.

Mayor Erin Thompson was delighted with the progress made to date and the high quality of facilities that the Council and TESA Education will make available to the local Onkaparinga community.

"The community has been so excited waiting for this build and watching it going up very quickly over the past 12 months," she said. "The community just can't wait to get in here and take a look".

Principal Alison Colbeck was excited to be sharing the facilities with the local community.

"The theatre is just the most remarkable place that we'll be able to share with the community, and the sports fields."

Areas available for the community to enjoy will include extensive sporting fields with lighting, multi-purpose indoor basketball/netball and the 'giant gym', performing arts theatre and various educational and learning facilities.

Construction is on track for on-time completion to welcome new students for Term 1 2022.
